A Fresh New Look is Coming to Your Library!

The library is under construction and closed to the public. We welcome you to visit our temporary location in the Evergreen Meeting Room of the Village of Kimberly Municipal Complex. There are very limited services available. You’ll be able to Pick up your holds and browse new materials or call ahead and request a book pack. The Friends of the Library book sale is also set up in that location. All items are $1 per book. You can come in to browse and shop or use curbside pickup to have your holds and book packs brought out to you. There are no printing or computers or quiet seating or toys for children available at this time. 

Hours for the temporary location August 18-25 are Monday through Friday Noon-6pm. Check back for updated hours and services each week, as the library plans to adjust as needed with the flow of the interior update work being done. The reopen date has not yet been determined.

Library Closure: 
We will be closed August 13–17 as the project begins.

Temporary Location: 
Starting August 18, you can visit us in a temporary setup located in the Evergreen Room of the Municipal Center Complex. We’ll be offering:

• Holds pickup

• Limited browsing and checkouts

• Curbside pickup

• Book packs arranged by theme and/ or genre

• Friends of the Library Book Sale

Modified Hours
(August 18–September 2):
Monday–Thursday: Noon to 6 PM
Closed Fridays and Saturdays after August 8

Extended Due Dates: 
Items checked out now will have extended due dates through September, so you can enjoy your materials worry-free during the renovation.

Additional Work & Book Drop Closures: 

• Parking lot resurfacing: August 16

• Sidewalk resurfacing: August 22

  The book drop will be closed on both dates—thank you for planning ahead!

We expect to fully reopen in September, but timelines may shift as the work progresses. Please stay tuned to our website, social media, or newsletter for updates along the way.
